Starting to realize–and apply–that thoughts/feelings become things is a big shift in thinking. Moving from the action-oriented world of "just do it" to the world of "you don't get what you ask for you get what you FEEL" is a lot to take in. Being Mad At LOA (podcast episode)
It took me a couple of years to wrap my head around how my life wasn't just happening, it was happening because of me. It's OK if you struggle with integrating this whole conscious creating thing. What Cycle Are You In? (article) Chances are that content you are reading is coming from a feeling-connected LOA coach. That's not the same thing as being in a place of struggle. Don't compare apples to oranges, recognize where you are and start there. LOA Is Not Wishful Thinking (podcast episode) There are LOA teachings out there that miss the point–the feelings and the heart-centered alignment. If you are turned off by any of the "think it, have it, ra-ra-ra" hard-core LOA marketing you are not alone. I talk about this here and the kind of LOA success path I refer to, always. The Process Is Continuous (post) You will never get done having things unwanted in your life. That's the contrast that gets you clear on what you DO want. But you WILL reach a point where that contrast is easily managed. You WILL reach a point where your joy is the norm. This poem says it all. Don't fight the journey. There is no destination of having achieved LOA forever. There is always evolution (which is supposed to be fun).
