Mental Freedom: The Missing Link in LOA

You’ve done the journaling.
You’ve visualized.
You’ve “raised your vibration.”

So why does it still feel like something’s stuck?

For years, I practiced Law of Attraction like it was my job. I read all the books — Abraham Hicks, Florence Scovel Shinn, Wallace Wattles, Raymond Charles Barker. I felt the feelings, visualized in vivid detail, stayed optimistic… and yet, something wasn’t landing.

Eventually, I realized the missing piece wasn’t the tools.
It was me.

More specifically: my mental freedom — or rather, the lack of it.

What Is Mental Freedom?

Most manifestation teachings assume you’re already free to think what you want. But what if your thoughts aren’t fully yours?

What if you’ve spent your life being shaped by others’ expectations, emotional enmeshment, or inherited family patterns? What if you’ve never been taught how to think for yourself — without guilt, rebellion, shame, or self-doubt?

I didn’t realize how much I’d been living inside other people’s thought patterns until I started to unwind them. Through my own spiritual healing work — what I now call Untangling Work™ — I reclaimed something I didn’t even know I was missing:

✨ The right and ability to think as myself.

Why This Matters for Manifestation

You’ve probably heard this before:

“If you can think it and feel it, it’s yours.”

But here’s the deeper question:
Can you even think the thought — without inner resistance, second-guessing, or inherited guilt?

For many spiritually aware, sensitive folks, the answer is no.

Not because we’re doing something wrong — but because we were never given the space to build that skill. We were told what to think, how to feel, what’s acceptable, what’s too much. And even when we rebelled, the thoughts we chose were often still in opposition to someone else — not truly from our own inner clarity.

Thoughts vs. Emotions: They’re Not Meant to Be Merged

Mental freedom doesn’t mean overriding your emotions.

It means being able to think while staying emotionally present.
It’s like having salad and chicken on the same plate — both part of the same meal, but not blended into a confusing mush.

Many of us never learned how to hold both thoughts and feelings clearly. Our inner worlds became a blender of emotion-thought fusion — where even choosing lunch feels foggy or fraught.

That’s why in Untangling Work, we start small:
🌀 Can you choose what you want for lunch — without guilt, shoulds, or rebellion?
Because if your inner child was never allowed to choose, that pattern is still running.

Manifestation Needs Mental Freedom

Conscious creation requires clarity. Not just emotional alignment, but thinking from your true self.

If you’re trying to manifest while your thoughts are still fused with others’, still shaped by ancestral patterns or fear of judgment — that’s like planting seeds in tangled soil. You’re doing the work, but nothing takes root.

Mental freedom is what lets you think clearly, choose freely, visualize without flinching, and trust the desires of your soul.

And that’s what makes manifestation work.

Let This Percolate

This isn’t a one-and-done insight. It’s a practice. A slow remembering.
Start small. Notice where your thoughts get tangled. Begin to reclaim them — not by force, but by thought.

Your thoughts are sacred.
Your mind belongs to you.

And when you reclaim your mental freedom, manifestation finally has a clear channel to flow through.
